SSN: How did you discover SUPERNATURAL?

Danielle: My Husband and I were at FYE, a local store where you can buy and trade DVDs. We asked a worker there what he might recommend by the other shows we watched and he suggested Supernatural. So we bought the first two seasons and we both were hooked, That was about 3 years ago, and now I’m fully immersed into the fandom!

SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Danielle: That is a tough one. So many great episodes!! Serious myth arc episode has to go to Swan Song. Just such a beautiful tear jerker episode. Favorite comedic or meta episode is between Changing Channels and Fan Fiction. Changing Channels because it’s just a fun, funny episode and you can tell how much fun the cast and crew had on making that episode, Fan Fiction because I’m also a huge lover of musicals!

SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Danielle: This is another tough one and I’m going to say probably Bugs, just because I just hate bugs and spiders. They give me the creeps!!

SSN: Who is your favorite villain?

Danielle: I loved Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer!! He was terrifyingly funny. Especially in season 7 when he’s in Sam’s Head. “He said shut up to me” I’m also loving Rowena this season and we don’t even yet know what she’s completely up to!! “Those darn Winchesters, again”

SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?

Danielle: I’m currently working on an SPN University project with a few fellow fans. We are planning on offering lessons and quizzes on all topics supernatural!! Also planning offering a fan fiction and episode analysis sections! Hoping to have it up and running soon so keep a look out for it! Spring break is a mandatory participation in GISHWHES!!20150412_081821

SSN: Do you prefer one of the brothers to the other? If so which one?

Danielle: I’m slightly a Sam girl but Dean curious for sure. I connect with the geeky side of Sam, as I consider myself a geek and love to read. Plus those puppy dog eyes!! I’m so happy to see that kick ass side of Sam this season. I also love Travis Aaron Wade’s character of Cole and hope to see a lot more of him on the show.

SSN: If you could be in any episode which would you you choose and why?

Danielle: I’m gonna say Fan Fiction because I would have loved to have been one of those girls and I love to sing!! Even if I can’t sing that well, my husband can testify to my love of singing. Plus again it looks like it was another really fun set to be involved in. Plus it’s set here in Michigan. How much fun would it have been to say “Bitch – Jerk” to the boys!!

SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?

Danielle: It’s a toss between John and Bobby. I feel the boys need that fatherly figure, role model, Who can resist the great sayings of Bobby!! As Dean recently said “A wise man once told me, family don’t end with blood,” I truly believe in that saying with regards to the whole Supernatural fandom. We are all family.

SSN: How do you want the show to end?

Danielle: I’d like to never see the show end, but all great things must come to an end. I think it needs to end with the boys dying, fighting the good fight, saving the world one last time. Possibly someone rediscovering the Impala and learning about the boys story by reading the Winchester gospels. Maybe even with the Impala in a museum like the Smithsonian. After all, “It’s the most important object in the universe.”

SSN: What other shows do you watch religiously?

Danielle: I also enjoy watching Arrow and the Flash. Game of Thrones, Scandal, Nashville and Bones. Was also a big fan of Smallville and Sons of Anarchy. Was sad to see those shows end.

SSN: Where can we find you on the internet? (Twitter, Facebook etc.)

Danielle: I’m currently only on Facebook and Twitter. I’m Danielle Desmond on Facebook and on Twitter, I’m MomaSmurf @ddesmond02. Soon you’ll be able to find me on Twitter @SPNUniversity.
