SSN: How did you discover Supernatural?
Kristi: In my little apartment household we like to try out new tv shows. My sister Dana said she’d like to check out this new show about ghost hunting. I didn’t know anything about the show except that it had two things that piqued my interest. One that it was science fiction/fantasy and two, that there were two good looking fellows on it.
SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?
Kristi: Oi! That’s a tough one! But after all the great episodes of season 4, Home from the first season remains my favorite episode. My reasons are threefold. One, we got to see overly protective Dean in this episode and, well as I’ll say later, I love Dean and that side of him. Two, It has a special place in my heart because it was this episode that my sister and I watched together around Thanksgiving when we had only each other and couldn’t really afford to go to see our parents back in Missouri. Three, after seeing this episode, it gave Dana and I the idea and motivation to start our podcast for this show. Ok, ok, and there is what Dana and I lovingly call “the killer plug” in the episode!
SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?
Kristi: I think, like a lot of Supernatural fans, Bugs is my least favorite episodes. I can watch any Supernatural episode over and over except this one. And it’s mainly because of the story being a little plothole-ish and there being no fun brotherly stuff.
SSN: Who is your favorite villain?
Kristi: Ol Yellow eyes is my favorite. Not only was he a smarmy bastard, but we got to see many different entertaining forms of him. My favorite yellow-eyed demon form was Jeffery Dean Morgan, a close second is Fredric Lehne, with third place going to Mitch Pileggi.
SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?
Kristi: I date Jensen Ackles. I WISH! Anyway, fangirl moment, excuse me. My sister and I having been doing a podcast for Supernatural since the end of season 2 called The EMF Podcast. It has been an experience and a half! It started as something fun, then turned into something even more fun and educating and finished with meeting some of the greatest supernatural friends and fans I’ll EVER meet. And they are from all over the world! Still hard to wrap my head around that one sometimes. Our show also likes to promote other awesome fansites like this one and winchesterbros.com!
SSN: Do you prefer one of the boys over the other? If so, which one?
Kristi: Let’s get one thing straight, Dean is the best! Best Winchester, best hunter, and the most good looking. That being said, I’m a total Sam fan! Just kidding. Dean is loyal to his family, he’s goes head first into confronting his problems, he loves muscle cars, he loves classic rock, and he takes on apocalypses!
SSN: If you could be in ANY Supernatural episode, which would you choose and why?
Kristi: Ooo, another tough question. There are SO many! Watch Dean be a PA or see the boys have a tender xmas gift exchange…I think my curiosity about angels wins me over to the episode Heaven and Hell. Angel showdown with demons! That would be a site to see! I would just have to maybe turn a blind eye to Anna and Dean when they…em, you know.
SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?
Kristi: Hands down, The Prophet Chuck! This guy is awesome! Hilarious and extremely important to the Winchester books of history! I did really like Andy, until this guy came along!
SSN: How do you want the show to end?
Kristi: As much as I would like to see a concrete happy ending, I’m leaning more towards and ending like the show Angel, if any of you have seen it. If you haven’t seen it, picture this: Weapons at the ready Dean, Sam and Bobby. All three of them bruised and worn down as if they just finished a great battle. But in the distance we see demon upon demon upon demon coming at the trio screaming and snarling. The three hunters stand defiantly and then run towards the demons weapons out and ready for battle. And end scene.
SSN: What other TV shows do you watch religiously?
Kristi: Dollhouse, Fringe, Lost, The Office, Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory, Legend of the Seeker.
SSN: Where can we find you on the Internet?
Kristi: I am on Facebook, but who isn’t? Who needs myspace when you got Facebook–oooo, that’s right I said it! You can listen to my Supernatural podcast HERE And that is where you will find me!:)
