SSN: How did you discover Supernatural?

Nur: I discovered it pretty late, in mid 2008 to be exact. I had finally finished watching the last seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and I was going through major withdrawals. I remember going online to look some things up about the shows, and stumbled on a trailer in iTunes. It showed these two guys in a car, and they looked like they were hunting a ghost. My first reaction – Ugh! Buffy and Angel wannabes. LOL! I know, but I was still upset about my favorite shows ending. One night my mom was watching this T.V. Show and she called me in and said I should watch this, cause it was right up my alley. I love my mom! Guess what the first episode I saw was … Dead In The Water. Guess who I saw first on screen … Amy Acker aka Fred! Supernatural and I were meant to be 🙂

SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Nur: Oh, wow! This is a mean question! I have so many that are my favorites. But, since I have to choose … Two Minutes To Midnight. Because it was the episode that lead up to the conclusion of Mr. Kripke’s five year story arc. It was the climax of everything that happened, action packed and drama filled! I loved how we got to see the boys truly come together and work as a team to save the world. It was also wonderful to see Bobby get his legs back and be a part of the fight with the boys. The introduction of Death, and the O’ Death playing in the background was just chilling! Crowley proved to be a valuable asset as well as the enemy. This episode was truly the finale for me, and Swan Song was the very dramatic and heartbreaking credits and the “To Be Continued” that lead into the new arc.

SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Nur: Um… these are such evil questions! … Fallen Idols. Surprisingly, my choice has nothing to do with Paris Hilton either. The episode had it’s moments, the lore was interesting, but I really wanted more from the monsters. It was a monsters of the week episode, but it felt kind of rushed. A few things were brought up that weren’t elaborated on and it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. I was also upset that it looked like the boys were falling back into a routine that never worked for them. The ending eased my fears a bit, but it still felt rushed and in the end I was yelling at my screen for more!

SSN: Who is your favorite villain?

Nur: Ruby! Out of all the villains on the show, she was the one who set the standards of true manipulative evilness! Unlike Meg, who was awesome, but couldn’t help showing it off, Ruby was able to tone it down and adjust the evil meter. She was abrupt and nasty whenever she talked to Dean, but was also understanding and appealed to his major weakness, Sam, by being there for his little brother when he was in hell. Ruby was hard with Sam when she needed to be and gentle when Sam was vulnerable and lost. She twisted him up and made him think she was an ally and when she accomplished her true goal, she showed her true face. She was never truly anything but evil, however, she was able to alter herself to come across as good. Which for me makes the best kind of villain and weapon.

SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?

Nur: Oh. I do a lot! I make videos, art, and I’ve even started writing fanfiction. I tweet about it, re-tweet about it and try my best to support the show through the charity that Jared endorses (A Dog’s Life Rescue). Whenever there’s an opportunity to bring up anything remotely Supernatural related I don’t hesitate to 🙂

SSN: Do you prefer one of the boys over the other? If so, which one?

Nur: You guys are such meany pants! I love both of them! However, I do find myself a bit possessive over Sam. It’s the eyes and that face, actually it’s the whole package 🙂 I do love them both though, in the sense that I will not bash one to make the other look good, I will not blame one for the mistakes and wrongs committed and I will stand up for whoever is being unlawfully bashed. So, I’m pretty healthy with a side of possessiveness over Sammy 😉

SSN: If you could be in ANY Supernatural episode, which would you choose and why?

Nur: I would totally be in my element in The Real Ghostbusters! I don’t role play, not one bit. But I loved Nancy Drew as a little girl and I couldn’t help but get that Nancy Drew vibe from this episode. I would have loved to have been a part of the mystery and finding clues and working with the Winchesters, the real ones 😉

SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?

Nur: Well, I’ve always wanted Rufus to be a regular, like Bobby. However, we’ve seen him in a recent episode, so I would love to see Missouri back. I think she would be of great use in the current events of Sammy and Dean. I really do think she would be able to help them and give them the answers they need. They could use someone who isn’t as cryptic as the angels, as manipulative as the demons and as suspicious as the Campbells.

SSN: How do you want the show to end?

Nur: I don’t want it to end! … but if it had to, I would love for it to end with both boys mended, mentally and in their relationship. I would love to see them smile, truly smile and be able to sit and have a beer together and just bond and talk. I would want them to continue to hunt, but to also be able to do things that would give them a sense of peace and satisfaction, whether it be with a girl they really like, or watching old horror movies with each other. I know, I’m a terrible romantic, but I want my boys to be okay 🙂

SSN: What other TV shows do you watch religiously?

Nur: I watch Firefly and Dollhouse, even though they’re cancelled. I watch Lie To Me, Kings, all the CSIs, Bones and Leverage.
