SSN: How did you discover Supernatural?

Terry: A friend of mine who worked at On Cue in Starkville (at that time he was store manager, Daryl Freeman) had watched the pre-air pilot in Yahoo pilots, and he burned me a copy. I watched it that night & fell in love with it instantly. I watched the actual premier a couple of days later it was the same episode, EP, “The Woman in White” as we in the #SPNFamily refer to it, though it was actually only titled “Pilot.” My life has never been the same since.

SSN: What is your favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Terry: My favorite episode of all time is the season 1 episode, “Scarecrow” – that episode showed the stress of the bond between Sam and Dean, and had the immortally *Fugly* character of the Venire in the Scarecrow. I think it was most fun to hear Dean (Jensen) actually create the Portmanteau, Fugly, for the first time in that episode.

SSN: What is your least favorite Supernatural episode and why?

Terry: That’s an easy one. It was the 7th season episode when Bobby died. I actually had never missed an episode before that, but that was hard to take. I actually penned a post on my WordPress blog about it, it’s titled “Why I am the Supernatural Prodigal Fan.”

SSN: Who is your favorite villain?

Terry: Crowley. Hands down. Especially now, when he’s more human than King of Hell.

SSN: How do you promote Supernatural?

Terry: I have given season DVDs to friends and Family members, and gifted online friends with boxed season through iTunes. I proudly proclaim my membership in the #SPNFamily on Google +, Facebook, and Twitter, where everyone fondly knows me as Teknokai.

SSN: Do you prefer one of the brothers to the other? If so, which one?

Terry: I really do love them both, but I’m partial to Dean. I think a lot of that is because I am the oldest brother, and my little brother Chris (Who’s a computer programmer for the Army Corp of Engineers in Vicksburg) reminds me a lot of Sam. In a lot of ways, he and I share the Dean/Sam dynamic – we both had pretty awful childhoods that we grew out of, and because of that we try to be the best men we can be.

SSN: If you could be in ANY Supernatural episode, which would you choose and why?

Terry: Oh, I’d love to be in a new episode. In my fandom mind, I have imagined a character who lives here in Mississippi, like me, the home of the original crossroads story, who has been around a long time. I’m not sure if he’s an angel, a demon, or some other monster, but I think he’s the kind that struggles to be more like a human than most. I don’t have a name, but that’s the kind of character I’d love to play.

SSN: What one character would you love to see back on Supernatural?

Terry: Bobby. He was the best Dad the boys ever had-and I’m saying that even though I liked John, too!

SSN: How do you want the show to end?

Terry: I don’t want it to end. Ever. I want to shuffle off this mortal coil knowing that the #SPNFamily will be there entertaining us long after I’m gone.

SSN: What other TV shows do you watch religiously?

Terry: Doctor Who, The Dead Files, Naruto Shippuden, Castle, Black Butler, and Sailor Moon Crystal, to name a few. I’m a really bad Otaku-I can never get enough anime! That’s why I was thrilled when Supernatural released it’s version in anime!

SSN: Where can we find you on the Internet?

Terry: I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and WordPress as TeknoKai – I’ve been a netizen for a long time. (I’m currently working as a Dell Certified Field Service Engineer.) I’m also on LinkedIn as Terry Woodson.
